Golf Accessories Reviews is committed to accurate, fair, independent and transparent coverage of golf equipment, technology and performance. These principles guide the presentation of claims and conflicts without replacing article-specific verification.
Our Ethical Principles
- Independence
Story choice and editorial conclusions remain with Kevin Sullivan and the publication’s editorial team. Advertisers and manufacturers cannot purchase positive reviews or veto unfavorable but supported findings. Material paid relationships require appropriate disclosure.
- Accuracy and Fairness
Technical details, dates, figures, quotes and product claims should be verified. Headlines must not misstate evidence. We explain uncertainty, avoid unsupported reputational harm, preserve quotation meaning, and consider a meaningful response when making serious allegations about identifiable parties.
- Conflicts and Product Access
Editorial contributors should disclose material business, personal or financial interests. Equipment samples, loans, travel or other relevant support must not determine coverage. When such circumstances materially affect a review, they should be disclosed; access does not establish independent testing.
- Sources and Anonymity
Named and primary sources are preferred. Confidential sources are exceptional, not routine, and require a justifiable need, a source identity known to the editor and appropriate corroboration. We do not use anonymous rivals for unsupported allegations or marketing claims. These principles matter most when a product claim is contested, access to equipment is offered, or commercial interests overlap with editorial subject matter. They provide a basis for assessing the evidence without promising that every judgment will be free from disagreement.
How These Apply to Coverage
- Reviews and Ads
Google AdSense ads are separate from independent content. We do not publish sponsored editorials or affiliate placements. Review criteria must be appropriate and evidence-based. Paid visibility does not determine editorial ranking position.
- Sensitive Claims and Images
Safety defects, conformity with rules, physical performance, health or legal allegations require appropriate scrutiny. We offer no personalized medical, legal or financial advice and no guaranteed equipment outcomes. Synthetic imagery must not masquerade as real tests or product documentation; AI must not fabricate sources or quotes. A favorable assessment should explain the relevant circumstances and limitations just as clearly as a critical one; neither should depend on access, gifts or anticipated advertising.
Accountability
Verified material errors are corrected, with appropriate notice where useful. Send concerns to [email protected]. Reader trust is supported when the publication distinguishes corrections to facts from new information and from changes in editorial judgment.
