MOI & Forgiveness 1 article
MOI & Forgiveness examines how clubhead mass distribution and moment of inertia affect resistance to twisting during off-center impacts. Coverage clarifies the meaning of forgiveness, strike-location variation, and tradeoffs associated with different head geometries and weight placements. This science section distinguishes measurable inertial properties from the broader player experience of accuracy or consistency, which also depends on delivery, face orientation, and the location of contact.
