Over the years, there has been a massive uptick in the price of some golf clubs. The main culprit of rising prices, by far, has been drivers. But putters have also seen a steady rise in prices that have topped $350 for regular retail versions. For golfers on a budget, these prices just won’t work.
So for today’s article, we have put together a list of 12 different putters to see which is the best putter under $100. Of course, big names like Odyssey, TaylorMade, Scotty Cameron, and Ping didn’t make the list. But there are some recognizable names like Cleveland and Wilson as well as some lesser-known names like Cag.
Each putter will get its own mini-review that highlights the club’s key features. We’re sure that the number of features on a couple of the clubs will surprise you! Without any more delay, let’s hop into our guide to find out which putter is the best putter under $100.

Key Features
- Mid Mallet Design
- Face Balanced
- CNC Milled Face Insert
Cag is perhaps the best example of how a golf company can create outstanding clubs at a reasonable price. In the case of the 34Five MD putter, Cag chose a Mid Mallet Design. This mixes the feel of a blade-style putter with the greater stability of a mallet.
In terms of balancing, the 34Five MD is Face Balanced for a more natural putting stroke. A great deal of stabilizing weight has been moved to the perimeter of the club to promote a cleaner roll on longer putts. To create the best feel and roll possible, Cag included a CNC Milled Face Insert.
A double-bend shaft and SVA Sightline Technology make it easy to properly address the ball and keep it centered during the putting stroke. Currently, the 34Five MD putter comes in the traditional 35-inch shaft length, but shorter lengths can be custom ordered. At just $80, this putter might just be the best budget putter on the market.
Pros
- Excellent Feel
- Smooth Roll
- Great Quality
- Good Value
Cons
- None
If you want all the performance of a big name putter at an excellent price, you just can’t beat the Cag Golf 34Five MD!

Key Features
- Blade Design
- 345 Gram Head Weight
- CNC Milled Face
Ok, so we should preface this mini-review by stating that the Huntington Beach #1 putter is priced at $99.99. So technically it’s under $100, but by the slimmest of margins. Regardless of the price though, this putter is quite good.
It features a 100% stainless steel Blade Design that provides a great mix of stability and freedom of movement. One really nice feature of the Huntington Beach #1 putter is the 345 Gram Head Weight. It makes the club feel heavy enough to hit longer shots but light enough to still have great feedback.
Speaking of feedback, Cleveland made sure to use a CNC Milled Face that not only gives each putt a smooth roll but also tactile feedback. This is great for golfers who want a middle of the road type of feedback that isn’t too hard or too soft.
Pros
- Smooth Roll
- Tactile Feel
- Great Quality
Cons
- None
Cleveland really hit it out of the park with the Huntington Beach #1 putter and it is certainly worth a spot in any golf bag.

Key Features
- Mallet Design
- Counter Balanced Weighting

Mallet putters come in all shapes and sizes. But The Bean putter takes a traditional mallet design and changes it a bit. The first change is by creating a two Counter Balanced tines that extend back from the heel and toe.
Wilson Staff then takes these two tines and connects them with a thin flat piece of metal to create the putts sole. This creates a large pocket that at address can really help golfers correctly align the ball to the hole. A high contrast three-line alignment aid creates an even better sightline at address.
To create the best feel possible, The Bean is made with a Double Milled Face. This process leaves a very similar look and feel of many Scotty Cameron putters. That’s why at just $95, this putter is a true steal.
Pros
- Great Feel
- Impressive Stability
- Clean Looks
Cons
- None
Mallet putter fans, its time to upgrade your putting game when you switch to the Wilson Staff Infinite The Bean.

- COMFORTABLE RIGHT HANDED PUTTER: This putter’s hand orientation is for the right hand. Our PVD finish provides the look of confidence to enhance your golfing experience and also provides a harder surface with better wear resistance.
Not a fan of Cag’s mallet-style putter? Then give Cag’s 33Five BD blade-style putter a shot!
Key Features
- Blade Design
- Face Balanced Weighting
- SVA Sightline Technology
- CNC Milled Face
Cag keeps its unmistakable and premium look with the 33Five BD putter. Made of the same stainless steel as the earlier reviewed mallet-style putter, this Blade Design has a soft feel and perfect weighting. Most of the weight is placed in areas of the clubhead that give the putter a Face Balanced Weighting profile.
There are even more similarities to Cag’s Mallet Putter. First is the inclusion of a contrasted CNC Milled Face insert for a smoother roll. Another similar feature is the special SVA Sightline Technology for easy alignment.
Golfers should note that the face insert is a bit small, so any putts off-center might feel significantly different. Cag does try to compensate for this by making the sole of the putter a bit thicker for better stability.
Pros
- Smooth Roll
- Nice Balance
- Easy To Align
- Great Value
Cons
- None
Cag once again pulls out all the stops and makes the blade-style 33Five BD putter a great value putter.
5. Wilson Staff Infinite Windy City
Wilson Staff Infinite Windy City
Features
- DOUBLE MILLED FACE: Promotes consistent impact, roll and distance control
- COUNTERBALANCED TECHNOLOGY: Moves the balance point closer to the hands for a smoother, more controlled putting stroke
- DARK ANTI-GLARE FINISH: New ultra dark PVD finish to reduce glare and accentuate sight-lines
- NEW GRIP: Perforated pattern for improved feel. Oversized design construction provides a stable feel and limits rotation during stroke
- Heavy grip construction, 104 grams, to create counter-balanced putter feel
Featuring a Mid Blade Design, the Wilson Staff Infinite Windy City is ready to help you sink more putts.
Key Features
- Blade Design
- Counter Balanced Technology
- Double Milled Face
Keeping with the design stylings of other Wilson Staff Infinite Putters, the Windy City putter has many of the same features. But all these features are elegantly crammed into a slightly larger Blade Design type of putter. Just like the construction of all the other Infinite putters, the Windy City uses soft stainless steel.
By changing the weighting areas and offsetting the putter head, Wison Staff has moved the balance point closer to the hands. This weighting will feel very similar to that of larger mallet putters. Wilson totes this weighting style as Counter Balanced Technology which is similar to the type of tech that is employed on higher-end putters.
As for feel, Wilson uses a Double Milled Face to give soft yet tactile feedback. This milling also helps smooth out the golf ball’s roll allowing for better accuracy. Each Windy City putter is finished with a dark PVD finish for better sightlines.
Pros
- Smooth Roll
- Nice Balance
- Great Looks
Cons
- Right At The $100 Mark
Nothing can beat the value of all the quality and features packed into the Wilson Staff Infinite Windy City!
6. Pinemeadow Site 4
Features
- Perfect Balance
- Lower Center Of Gravity
- Headcover Included
- Country Of Origin: China
Pinemeadow brings together the perfect combination of value and features with the Site 4 putter.
Key Features
- Full Mallet Design
- Counter Balanced
- Soft Face Insert
- Mid-Size Putter Grip
Pinemeadow has slowly become one of the largest leaders in the budget golf sector. Offering golf clubs and accessories at a discount price has really helped Pinemeadow pickup new and beginner golfers. And when it comes to putters, the Pinemeadow Site 4 is by far the company’s best.
It features a Full Mallet Design with a cast steel construction. This gives the putter exceptional Counter Balancing to keep the putter head stable during the putting stroke. Of course, like other cast putters, Site 4 weighs in much heavier; somewhere around the 450gram mark.
There are some other smaller but positive features included with this putter. That includes a Soft Face Insert as well as a Mid-Size Putter Grip. One area where the Site 4 lacks is in the fit and finish department. Users have reported some putters with paint chipping and some sharp edges out of the box.
Pros
- Soft Feel
- Nice Grip
- Well Balanced
Cons
- Paint Chips Easily
If you are willing to forego some fit and finish quality, the Pinemeadow Site 4 putter can really change your putting game.
7. Wilson Harmonized M2
Features
- EASY ALIGNMENT DESIGN: Horizontal lines on the putter head visually support alignment for a more accurate setup
- VERTICAL SEAM GRIP: The midsize Harmonized putter grip features a vertical seam on the back side to improve feel throughout the stroke
- FACE INSERT: The microinjection polymer face insert improves feel upon contact with the golf ball
- SEMI-MALLET HEAD SHAPE: Super stable head shape increases consistency and enhances confidence
- BALANCED FOR FORGIVENESS: Weight is optimized to help compensate for off-center hits for truer, more accurate putts
Find the perfect balance between balance and size with the Wilson Harmonized M2.
Key Features
- Semi-Mallet Design
- Micro Injection Face Insert
- Mid-Size Putter Grip
For those unfamiliar with Wilson and its golf product lines, Wilson and Wilson Staff are not the same. Wilson Staff offers more expensive and better-made clubs while Wilson caters to golfers on a budget. In the case of the Harmonized M2, the putter is on the budget side but still offers good performance.
The design Wilson chose for the Harmonized M2 was a Semi-Mallet that is somewhere between a mallet and blade. The body of the putter is made of cast steel which makes the club quite heavy for its size. This is perfect for golfers who want a much more stabilized putter.
Wilson also includes a Micro Injection Face Insert that acts to absorb vibration and produce a more consistent roll. Pair this face insert with the included Mid-Size Putter Grip and the feel at impact is quite good. On the downside though, the Harmonized M2 putter seems to suffer from some small quality issues ranging from paint to sharp edges.
Pros
- Great Roll
- Nice Grip
- Good Value
Cons
- Some Quality Issues
Wilson does a great job of capturing the look of a blade putter and the stability of a mallet with the Harmonized M2.
8. Ray Cook SR500
Ray Cook Limited Edition SR500
Features
- Product Type: Golf Club
- Package Dimensions: 2.489 L X 10.21 W X 91.389 H (Centimeters)
- Country Of Origin: China
- Package Weight: 0.635 Kilograms
Ray Cook went back to the design table and drastically improved on its Silver Ray lineup of putters.
Key Features
- Two-Ball Design
- Milled Face
- Mid-Size Putter Grip
With the SR500 putter, Ray Cook is looking to emulate the performance of the immensely popular Two-Ball Design. In particular, Ray Cook has made the SR500 in a design very similar to the popular TaylorMade Spyder putter. There are some major differences between the two though
To keep the SR500 affordable, Ray Cook choose a cast steel construction rather than a more advanced milled style of construction. This results in a slightly heavier club head that weighs about 360 grams. Ray Cook does include a milled face to help create a smoother roll.
Golfers can choose between three different shaft options for the Ray Cook SR500 and include center shafted, side shafted, and a double bent “S” shaft. Another upgrade to the SR500 is a larger Mid-Sized Putter Grip. Overall, this is a great cheaper version of two ball style putters.
Pros
- Nice Roll
- Comfortable Grip
- Good Looks
Cons
- None
With an affordable price and several options, the Ray Cook SR500 is one of the best two ball-style budget putters.
9. Pinemeadow PGX
Pinemeadow PGX
Features
- The PGX putter features a precise white finish which stands out when the putter is in the address position on the green.
- This contrast of the white color against the green grass really helps maintain focus on the alignment lines that help ensure that your putter is on target at start.
- At 380g the additional 40g weight of the mallet putter is "tour-weighted", suited best for the faster greens that are more and more common around the world.
- Includes custom PGX headcover
- Putter length 34"
Pinemeadow creates a magnificent putter with the right mix of features and price in the Pinemeadow PGX.
Key Features
- Large Mallet Design
- Milled Face
- High Contrast Alignment Aid
Pinemeadow makes it again on our list, this time with a Large Mallet Design putter the PGX. In a similar fashion as the earlier mentioned Site 4 putter, Pinemeadow uses a cast steel construction with the PGX. This gives the PGX clubhead a total weight of 380 grams.
Like other cast putters, the PGX offers a Milled Face near the center of the clubface. While the milling isn’t anything too impressive, it should do a good job at dampening vibration and helping provide a smooth roll. Any shots hit outside the milled area may have poor roll and feel.
Pinemeadow did go with a different approach to color and contrast with the PGX. The body is coated in a matte white color with black alignment aids on the crown of the putter. This should provide a great contrast between the green, ball, and putter. The only downside is that the paint tends to chip easily.
Pros
- Great For Long Putts
- Well Balanced
- Good Value
Cons
- Paint Chips Easily
If you are a fan of larger mallet putters and want a great buy, then we recommend the Pinemeadow PGX.
10. Ray Cook SR400
Features
- Colour: Black
- Model Number: 11RAYSR400PMRHREGST34I01
- Country of origin:- China
- Package Dimensions : 87.6L x 14.0W x 11.4H (centimetres)

Have trouble pushing or pulling putts? Let the Ray Cook SR400 help fix your putting in a blink of an eye!
Key Features
- Counter Balanced Design
- Milled Face
- High Contrast Color
Using a blade-style putter opens many golfers up to the reoccurring problems of pushing or pulling the golf ball. Usually, this annoying problem can be attributed to a lack of club balance & stability. Simply switching putters to a Counter Balanced Design like the Ray Cook SR400 can fix the problem.
With the SR400, Ray Cook took a classic blade putter design and added two “fangs” to the heel and toe to create a counterbalanced feel. The entire putter is made out of cast steel which makes the putter heavier and slightly softer than milled steel. Ray Cook even included a Milled face for a better overall feel.
Like other Ray Cook putters, the SR400 has an eye-catching appearance. This paint job also works to create better contrast at address. The one bad part of the paint job is that it tends to chip and peel very easily.
Pros
- Great For Long Putts
- Perfect Balance
- Good Value
Cons
- Paint Chips Easily
- Cheap Quality
Despite the paint and quality issues, the Ray Cook SR400 is a perfectly priced counterbalanced putter.
11. Wilson Harmonized M1
Wilson Staff Harmonized M1 Jumbo
$49.99 in stock
Features
- EASY ALIGNMENT DESIGN-Horizontal lines on the putter head visually support alignment for a more accurate setup
- VERTICAL SEAM GRIP-The midsize Harmonized putter grip features a vertical seam on the back side to improve feel throughout the stroke
- FACE INSERT-The micro-injection polymer face insert improves feel upon contact with the golf ball
- Features oversized Jumbo Harmonized grip
Out of all the cheap golf putters on the market, the Wilson Harmonized M1 could be the best.
Key Features
- Blade Design
- Micro Injection Face Insert
- Mid-Size Putter Grip
“Just the basics” would be the best phrase to describe the Wilson Harmonized M1 putter. With a simple Blade Design, the Harmonized M1 is appealing to almost any golfer. Plus, Wilson has added some extra stabilizing weight behind the clubhead to make it easier than ever to sink putts.
Wilson also added a couple of much-needed features to help make the M1 feel a bit more premium. First is a Micro Injection Face that gives the club a softer feel and more consistent roll. The second feature includes a larger Mid-Size Putter Grip with a vertical seam on the back. This grip is very similar to higher-end SuperStroke putter grips.
Of course with a putter under $35, the overall quality can be lacking. In the case of the Harmonized M1, it’s the paint that has some issues. Chipping paint has been reported, but this is something you should expect with this low cost of a putter.
Pros
- Great Sightlines
- Nice Weighting
- Low Cost
Cons
- Paint Chips Easily
If your in a pinch for cash and need a putter, there’s certainly nothing wrong with the Wilson Harmonized M1.
12. Intech Trakker
Features
- BLADE-STYLE DESIGN - Improve your accuracy with the enhanced heel and toe weighting.
- PLUMBER’S NECK HOSEL - Offset hosel to ensure your hands are ahead of the putter at impact
- SOFT FACE INSERT - For added feel and muted sound at impact
- CONTRASTING COLOR COMBINATION - For improved alignment. Includes a single white sight line on the topline.
- HEEL-SHAFTED BLADE PUTTER - Left-handed, 35” assembly length
Need a serviceable putter for a golf outing or two a year? Intech has you covered with the low-cost Trakker.
Key Features
- Blade Design
- Soft Face Insert
- Contrasted Color Combination
Intech really keeps it as simple as possible with the Trakker Putter. Featuring a Blade Design and cast construction the Trakker is not only low-cost but serviceable. Again, the design is nothing fancy. But it’s certainly a step above some of the cheapest mini-golf style of putters.
Intech did add a Soft Face Insert in an attempt to low vibration and increase feel. For the most part, this insert does its job. The only real problem is that the insert is so small the ball has to be hit dead center for it to work.
There is some color contrast to help with alignment. Of course its nothing like other slightly more expensive putters. But again, it is better than nothing and keeps an overall clean look. Just like many of the other lower-priced putters, the Trakker has a good chance of having its paint chipped.
Pros
- Easy Alignment
- Soft Feel
- Low Cost
Cons
- Paint Chips Easily
- Very Light Weighted
The Intech Trakker is a great cheap putter for those golfers who only hit the links a couple of times a year.
Bottom Line
And there you have it! You’ve made it to the end of our review of the 12 best putters under $100. Hopefully, this guide has helped you find a great putter at a price that you can afford. But before we wrap this article up we thought that we should address a big point about lower-cost putters.
First, you need to understand why budget putters cost less. Most times lower cost comes with lower quality materials and finishing. Another big reason is the lack of “special features” such as advanced face inserts and multi-material constructions. This is just something you need to accept if you purchase a putter for under $100.
But if you want the best quality for the price, try to stick to the bigger names like Cleveland and Wilson Staff. Cag is also another, albeit smaller, name that has excellent putters for the price. Overall though, an upgraded putter can be all it takes to cut out lots of unnecessary strokes from your putting game. So no matter which putter you choose, we’re confident they will help you out on the green!
