Callaway’s Sure Out 2 is the newest version of the Sure Out wedge originally offered by Ben Hogan. In this new version, Callaway didn’t stray too far from the original but did do some touch-ups across the entire club.
The first change was a new Refined Sole shape that makes getting out of bunkers a breeze. This change also affected the bounce angle slightly, but still allows for quality shots from tight lies. Callaway also extended the grooves across the entire clubface for enhanced feel and spin.
One feature that is a bit controversial is the use of a special Step Down Lamkin Grip. This grip shows marking for different distances but is hard to use because of lots of variables.
